Our Story
Jocas sits on Frankford Avenue, one of Philadelphia's most characterful streets, and has been a steady presence in the community for years. We started as a bakery — baking bread the way it's supposed to be baked, with patience and good ingredients — and grew into a full grocery so our neighbors could grab everything they need in one stop.
Every morning, our ovens are warm before the rush. Our shelves are stocked with pantry staples, international finds, fresh produce, and baked goods that arrive daily. It's the kind of place where regulars know your name and you can find exactly what you're looking for — or something you didn't know you needed.
